5 Daily use phrasal verbs 

In this post we are going to learn some very useful phrasal verbs that you can use in your day to day life. phrasal can be some tricky, but we need learn it. phrasal verbs are used by majority of the people , so you can come across with this kind of phrasal verbs.


1. Go/come over

To come or go over is to visit someone in their house. 

For example : If you’re at  home and waiting for a friend or someone , you might say:

“A friend is coming over tonight.”


But if you’re on your way to your friend’s house, you could say:


“I’m going over to a friend’s place right now.”


2. End up


To end up somewhere is to arrive in a place after a series of events, especially when you didn’t plan it. You might travel around India for some time and end up in Maharashtra. And you have decided to live there forever, so you can say:


“I came to Maharashtra just to visit but I ended up staying.”


End up can be used to talk about experience.

For example 

after UPSC preparation I ended up worrying about my future.


3. Figure out


To figure something out is to find a solution for it, or to understand it. If you can’t solve a math problem, you might say,


 “I can’t figure it out!”


 And if someone asks you about anything and that's little bit difficult for you to answer, you can say,


“I can’t figure out what's the answer for your question.”



4. Put up with

To put up with mean is to tolerate something even though you don’t like it. You might not understand how your friend puts up with her brother. And if someone is irritating you because they’re not making any sense, you might say,


“I can’t put up with this nonsense.”


5. Show up

To show up somewhere is to be present at a place where someone is waiting for you. You might show up early or late, where your friend might be waiting for you.

“I never showed up on time!”


However, it should be noted here, the above phrasal verbs can be used interchangeably. For example you can say, I can't comp up with any idea when friends hoping for .
